Production date?
Does anybody know when the last OBS rolled off the line? My build date is 12/97 and a friend of mine has an early 99. The little stuff that most people wouldn't look at, I look at. We compaired trucks, mine has the same cover on the HPOP and same plastic connector piece on the intake tube. All other 97s I have seen the cover is big and held on by 3 bolts and the connector is made of a metal material.

Your buddy has a 1997 OBS truck with a build date of 1999......weird.
