Default Switching tuner to different trucks?

Is it possible to take an SCT X3 off of an 04 automatic and put it on an '05 with a manual?

As long as the stock programming is still on the device, it should work.

However, contact SCT for a difinitive answer.

As long as you return the original vehicle the tuner was used on back to stock you won't have a problem. The XCal3 will automatically unlock itself when you change vehicles. You WILL have to have different tunes for the 05 than you had for the 04 because of the difference in processors.
