Do I need a new custom tune with these mods?
I recently purchased a Gryphon CS for my 04 FX4 5.4L. I also purchased a few custom tunes based on recommendations from the forum and PHP. I currently have a Borla cat back and K&N CAI, but I think I want to install Troyer's transmission kit as well as their hotter coils and wires (when I do the dreaded spark plug change-out)
Did I just "waste" $90 on custom tunes, or will my truck be ok if I add these additional mods?  This money spending thing is pretty addictive...

Just did a search on the coil packs, and have determined that I'm not going to replace mine. I'll just change out the plugs.
As far as the transmission kit goes, will my custom tunes make me have jolting shifts ?

If you listed the tranny kit they'll adjust the pressures and shift timing to make it work like it should.
