I just installed by FU2 chip last night and with Bills help programmed it. All I can say is wholy cow.:rockwoot::rockwoot: The 40' black strip in front of my house says it all. :disbelief: It is a totally different truck.

The chip absolutly rocks and after a little testing it seems to be adding a few more miles to the gallon in fuel sipper. The big test will be in about an hour or two when we leave for Iowa.

I want to thank both Bill and Correy for all their help.:perfect10:

So right now we are in Idaho Falls and getting ready to go through Yellowstone. I just have to say the chip keeps impressing me. Driving from Reno Nevada to her I averaged 20.4 mpg doing between 70-75 :happy-dancing: and egts where in the the 600-650 range. That is a 3-4 mpg increase and if this keeps up the chip will pay for itself. I do notice the truck runs a little different at altitude though but it is still bad ***. :2thumbs:

Thanks
Joe

Ok so the trip is done and I am so glad I bought the chip. I got as high as 22 mpg on a nebraka expey doing about 45-50. The freeway varied between 18-21 depending on grade altitude and speed. The chip is one of the best investments I made for the truck.:2thumbs:

I still can't get over 18MPG, but I did buy new tires that are narrower, lighter and slightly smaller diameter than whats on there now so hopefully I will get them installed before I drive back to Colorado on Sun/Mon Plus I'm usually on 80MPH cruise too..... 315/75R16 BFG AT going to 255/85R16 Remington Mud Brute's

My best mileage came with 255/85s.

Good luck DJ!
