Yes the last few months i've been running the custom tunes.
There is no set pattern to the backfire,i could go a few weeks and nothing happens.

Got my tunes 05-19-2009 .

It happens after accelerating when your foot is off the gas.

Sounds kind of like raw fuel is being dumped into the tailpipe to me. We used to see this sometimes with carbureted engines, but I thought fuel injectors pretty much stopped this from happening.

Okee-dokee. I'll run that past Billy and see what he says. I'm sure he'll probably need to chat with you a bit before actually getting down to WHY it's happening. Then I'll:cheesy smile: post to help other people, too! :cheesy smile:

Sounds like a good plan to me, thanks.:cool_beans:

I doubt it was intentional, but I suspect you WERE kind of "forgotten". I'll see if I can get their attention on this again.

Right now, I also posted a note on the mod board about your issue.
That's all I can do.

Anthony,

First, I want to apologize because your issue did go overlooked. Corey had asked me to address it and I have a note that unfortunately got stuck to the back of a few orders so I obviously didn't get back to your issue. :sniffle: I will be sure to look at the problem this afternoon and get back to you on a solution.

I would like to note that while Corey is on here pretty frequently, I, on the other hand, do not have the luxury of spending as much time on the forum as I'd like. With this in mind, I want to make it very clear that we DO NOT ignore customers. If there isn't any progress on an issue, there are several other ways aside from our forum to get in contact with us for assistance or an update. The forum is meant to be a convenience for our customers, not the final word in communication or support. A phone call or e-mail will usually garner a faster response as well as provide a more direct dialog that will help quickly resolve issues.

Also, because of the way the forum status updates, I often come on and will not show any new posts. This makes it a little difficult for me to track issues because it is a little more difficult to see which threads have activity. Not that I can't see which threads have been recently posted in, but I lose all of the "New Unread Posts" markers and it makes it really difficult to track the recent posts. Several times now, I had accidentally skipped a post or two because I wasn't able to locate the latest posts in the thread.

Again, I do apologize for the delay but please be assured that your issue will be addressed.

Take care.

Thank you for the update i will test it out and let you know if the problem persists.

On a side note it will be good to have the Gryphon back on the truck, the throttle lag sucks.
