I have been thinking about sending my evo in soon to be upgraded. Can you give an estimate of the current turn around time? I'm not sure how long I can live without it! :)

It would be good to know, they say between 3 to 4 weeks for the upgrade. I have one and half week i send mine. I have been trying to contact them to see if the receive it but nothing yet. I have send 2 emails and call several times and no answer. If you keep reading other posts you will determine for how long you are going to have to wait :yesnod:

Quick question : Does the upgraded Evo come sent-out with custom tunes pre-installed? or do i still have to wait for them?

Unless something's changed, and I don't think it has, your upgraded Gryphon comes with the tunes installed. This let's Bill test that the tune and firmware upgrades went in without problem.

Like Jack said, it comes with the tunes loaded. It's nice that Bill goes this route, though it takes a bit longer to get your programmer back; you eliminate the possibilities of errors downloading and installing them on your PC. It's worth the wait too.

When i received my upgrade to gryphon i just plug it on the truck and load the custom tune. I did not had any problems.
