Bill I just have to say I love your tuning. :2thumbs:

Recently I drove to Denver 225 miles each way using one fill up for the round trip my math says 25 miles to the gallon average for the round trip :yikes2:. I though my math was wrong, so this past weekend I did it again and the math said 26 MPG on that trip :disbelief:. I know the 60 miles of down grade each way that I am completely off the throttle have something to do with it, but dang!

there are 2 major passes on the way, one of them is an 11,000 ft pass called Monarch. Comming off of Monarch I have more than 20 miles of coast going either direction.

For those that don't have my truck sheet in their file: 97 F250 5 speed 4X2 California edition (split shot injectors), DIY intake, 3.54 rear gears, no propane, no water/meth, and a driver who was going easy the whole way using 80 daily.

Ok, my numbers still seem high. I think they may be due to un-even fills, I have yet to find a pump that I don't have to milk the nozzle to get the tanks to fill.

25 seems a bit high to me, too. However, math is math and if the numbers come up on fill-up, it's hard to argue it. I do notice that driving "down" in elevation always has a positive effect on economy. Driving from Salt Lake to Vegas always got me about 2 MPG better then Vegas to Salt Lake. Of course, headwinds may also play a part in the fuel economy game as well.

Keep us posted. :2thumbs:
