I just got my gryphon yesterday it works great there is just a lot of noise coming from my CAI, I mean quite a bit it rattles everything in my cab. Before it would be silent until I stomped it and then it would give a nice growl. Now even when I get on its just obnoxious. I have ordered custom tunes, how much will this change and in the mean time should I put the factory intake back on? on a good note my mpg went up 2.5!!

What kind of vehicle do you have and what CAI did you put on?

The Gryphon with the "canned" tunes may cause your CAI to drone. This has to do with the camshaft timing modifications. The custom tuning should eliminate that unpleasantness. :thumbsup:

awesome can't wait to get my custom tunes, its an 06 f-150 5.4 4x4. I have the Volant CAI.

i have an AEM brute force and custom tunes and i get serious drone-ing at 2000-2500 rpm. Bill, sent you a PM...
