They are hard to get a hold of! Aren't they?
From what I know is nothing has been released yet. So trying to prepay for one will be hard to do.
The prices haven't been set yet either.

Yeah, Thanks i got a hold of them a couple of weeks ago and they told me that the gryphon would be available for the 2009 the first of the year. Then i posted that info on FordF150.net and someone told me to go ahead and order it so i was going to try and do that.

I know this may sound retarted but is there a way that we could set up a time that Bill or Corey could call me. So that i can order my Gryphon I really would rather do it over the phone so that way i dont mess up the form some how. If this is possible that would be great.
Thanks.

I don't blame Edge on that. They're protecting their investment in the new platform. However, you're better off waiting because then you can get the new CS for the '09. :) I'm told it should be ready in January.
Take care.

Isn't the new CS going to be around $500-$700?

I THINK the CS is in the $500's. The CTS (what I want) is in the $600's. :yikes2:

are the new CS really worth that much money because it will be even more once you get the custom tunes.

but besides the big screens what makes then so much more special then the regular evo's or is that it. They are charging 100 or so extra dollars for a big touch screen.

Just like tv's!
Bigger screen=more $$$
Add in the touch feature and reasearch and developement along with the color output and that would be about $100.

Forgot to add that there is an optional backup camera also for about $100-$200.
I think its just for the cts.

Correct - The big screen is needed for the backup camera picture. The camera itself is a "low-light" infra-red sensing one that has a pretty neat locking mount.
Both the CS and the CTS feature "virtual" analog gauge displays, which is good for quick interpretation and I think they can both monitor more PIDs, but I'd have to go look at the Edge webpage to be certain of that.
It IS mostly "eye candy". I'm sure the tunes cannot really be improved much unless more parameters were "tunable".

Oh great. Another teaser. :whistle1:
And the 'impatience' level goes up another notch. :cry-blow:

Not trying to tease...
There is a much greater flexibility in the new platform. It is all script based and features are supposed to be extremely easy to implement. I've got a few preliminary calibrations put together but waiting on the OS to be able to handle the Ford communications. Edge held up the release to get all the '09 stuff in there.
In any event, once they're released we'll be ready to go with custom tunes. :)

So PHP is going to offer their own version of the CTS for the 09-10 5.4L?
This will definitely be an event! :2thumbs:

Eventhough you guys with the 09-10's are sitting there drooling over it and waiting. Us guys with older trucks can run it also.
Now the demand curve went through the roof!

but you guys with the older models can already get them. Us with the newer models have to wait

Ah guys?
The edge ford page doesn't even list them yet:
http://www.edgeproducts.com/categories.php?p_cat=69&cname=Ford
So us guys with the older trucks are still waiting for the CS + CTS also. But I know what you mean too, we are still able to use the gryphon or edge evo.

yeah sorry i thought the CS and CST was available for the older models. That was my fault

It's confusing!
I was told by the Edge Representative at SEMA, that the CS and CTS WERE available for F150 gassers. It's possible they just haven't updated their website.
I doubt I'll buy an Edge though, if I decide to get one I think I'd rather wait for it to be available from PHP.
And now Bill has me all excited over the possibility that additional parameters can be modified.
