Update ?

Hey guys. long time no talk. Hope all is well ! :howdy:

Trying to do some updates. Trying to update pegasus, but when I apply updates it gets to updating file structure.edf and will freeze. Will not load anything past this.

Am I doing something wrong ? I should be updating pegasus, correct ? Will not hurt my custom tunes ?

This is usually caused during server maintenance or when files on the server are being updated.



So, try again at a different time or... ??? :crazy:

Looks like everything uploaded. Not sure how well...

Now it is asking for me to fill out the registration (yes, this is my first update, what can I say ? haha)

When I go to help, then click on registration and it says:

Run Time error '713'
Class not registered.
You need the following item to be installed on your machine.
MSSTDFMT.DLL.

Lastly, is there a safe way to update the gryphon ? Do I need to ? Without messing up my custom tunes...

If I were you, I'd completely uninstall Pegasus (and try to clear the Registry of any Pegasus entries too), then reinstall it while following the install instructions on PHP's web site. I'm guessing you have Windows Vista? If so, you MUST be very careful to follow Bill's installation guidance.

If you have Windows 7, I don't have any pearls of wisdom to offer, sorry!

Dont worry about your custom tunes. As long as your vehicle was programmed to stock you'll have no problem there. Pegasus will most likely warn you that you will lose your custom tunes. Unless you are a special case where Bill had to email you the tunes simply go to the [Target Functions] and your custom tunes will be reloaded. :thumbs up yellow:

There hasn't been any changes to the gryphon for your year truck. So an update is really not required.
Now on the other hand pegasus will need to be updated and follow Jack's and PHP's instructions on this.

Perfecto! Looks like I got it. No more errors and everything seemed to load without issue. Must of been due to the windows vista :whistle1:
