I received my chip today!:happy-dancing: and my big PHP mouth sticker:thumbs up yellow:

i am installing it later today.... but i was wondering....

at any psi in boost does the truck start to de-fuel? also how much psi can the turbo handle (not on a daily basis but more of like a once in a while drag or dyno run)???

thanks!

Try to keep it under 25 PSI.

Nothing set in stone, but it's the general consensus. If you can hit 25 PSI, you're good.

In the higher-hp settings, that won't do anything. Bill commands the wastegate solenoid valve to stay closed anyway and there isn't a pressure signal sent to the actuator.

ok so it will be ok if i leave it unplugged? because the jackass that put my boost gauge in hooked it up to the red waste gate line and the T fitting is broke off and stuck in one side of the red line. so ...ya haha

there is also a torque reduction map for reducing torque when the truck shifts gears under heavy throttle.. I think it defuels to do this. I know zip about automatic trannys but Cody will be able to let ya know if I am correct on how it does it..

ok well if thats true then that makes sense i have no problem with that. i just didnt want any defueling under certain psi of boost. thanks!

im almost positive its an overboost code. it only happens when it gets that high. I NEED HELP GUYS! will hoooking my wastegate back up work?? i cant even top out my truck i tried and when im at 96 mph the boost gauges is at 30psi so i have to let off. i am keeping it in ECON mode and watching the boost constantly now i dont want to blow or wear my turbo. :help:

It depends on the tune. If Bill has "disabled" the wastegate function by commanding the valve closed, then hooking up the wastegate actuator back up will do nothing.

It could be a high/low ICP code too. I get it at high load/boost sometimes. plan on getting an Adrenaline HPOP this summer if funds and time permit.... I did a post about it in the Minotaur forum somewhere P1211. First time I got it I thought it was an overboost code too till I checked it with AE
