If you are still using Internet Explorer then that is your problem. Get Mozilla Firefox and the adblock plus add-on... Firefox Browser | Upgrade to the latest version of Firefox | Free Download (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/upgrade.html)

I use Firefox too, but I haven't bothered to install Adblocker. I Do use "Ghostery" though, and it can be set to block web trackers, ad networks, data collectors and the like. I'm not bothered by any ads at all.

But I have to agree that firefox is better...just haven't had time to download it to the laptop yet.

Running a small screen like my netbook, I can get the most amount of screen space using Firefox with various add-on's and themes. way more than IE or Google Chrome
here is an example of the screespace I get on my 10" netbook and the add-ons I am using to get the screen real estate

Basically 2 small rows at the top using Micro Fox theme and the rest is open for browsing.
I use Farstone capture to get my screenshots, its pretty handy little app
