I have a 97 350 cc 4x4 sd psd. I have this clunk in the front end when turning. I looked at it and found that when i turn the wheel the tie rod connected to the steering arm rotates up (like the throttle on a motorcycle) and i get the noise.
I had it inspected a couple of weeks ago and the mechanic said it was normal that those trucks do that. However, your ball joints are bad !! lol lol
So is that normal? I don't think so but what do i know????
would a steering dampener help?
Thanks for the help!
