My neighbor has an edge evo that he's willing to give me for a great deal but the problem is that its for a chevy. So my question is in the upgrade to gryphon process can a chevy evo be changed for my f150 since they're both obdII and assuming the pinouts fit? I've talked about on a different forum and we didn't come to a conclusive answer.

My opinion is yes that it will work but Bill or Corey will have to give the final answer on this question!

I forgot to add this in my answer.
The other dilema you may run into is cable application issues.
The cable for 97-03 f150's is different than the cable for 04's and up.
So the chevy cable might not work and another cable that will work might have to be purchased.
