I bought a used chip and the previous owner says he kept in in 100 performance for best power and mpg. I have been keeping it in 100 and it runs great, just double checking making sure its not gonna hurt anything. I also have 80 daily driver, but I prefer 100 perf. :thumbs up yellow:

It shifts really hard and chirps if you get on it maybe 3/4 throttle or more, I dont like that. It makes the truck pop forward and it just doesnt feel right. In 80 dd, it has those hard shifts only when your wot. I did a bunch of driving tonight and I think I'll keep it in 80 DD. Another question I have is: can I switch positions if I just let off the throttle? say I'm going down the road and want to pass someone, can I let off, pop it to 100 perf and get goin?

Yes....no problems with switching on the fly, just remember to let of the throttle first.:D
