i got a Phoenix chip with stock, whisper mode, dd, 2 tow tunes, and the 120hp. i was under the impression that these chips were tuned so you dont need the overboost annihilator or BRV+ relief valves. Long story short my truck is still throwing overboost codes and defueling, really annoying when pulling something. What should i do?

It depends on the tunes being used. Does it defuel in the 120 HP setting? If I'm not mistaken, I think Bill leaves the overboost and wastegate control solenoid settings stock with the towing tunes.

Its a late 99 F250, 7.3, ive got the stock, 65dd, whisper mode, 65tow, 40tow, and 120 extreme. at least i think thats what they are dont have the order form right here with me so im not sure on the numbers. i have an DIY intake, straight pipe, Turbomaster adj wastegate controller, and the 6 pos. i dont know what codes they are but its in towing and dd when the truck boosts hard, havent tried it in the 120 mode yet. Truck hits 28-30psi, light comes on and power tops out. Really really annoying when you try to pass someone on the interstate. Love the chip otherwise, just curious about this.

Could be a 1211 code, you NEED to check codes to be sure it is not something else.

you need to see what codes are stored.. what you think is an overboost my actually be a low ICP. I get that under high boost and heavy load sometimes. the stock pump can't always keep up with the Oil pressure that's being requested... that is the reason I am planning on adding an adrenaline pump later

By the way, 28-30 PSI out of the stock turbocharger is death for it and you're certainly not gaining any more power by pushing it that hard.

No problem ill get them checked out. The light only stays on for a few minutes so i hope the codes are stored.
