Most of the time, no. But I have read posts from Bill where he recommends a custom tune for some brands of shorty headers. What brand are you putting on?

Shorty headers do not require any recalibration of custom tunes.
Peace!:)

Longshot,
Those were in combination with other exhaust mods that required it.

I have one more question since you guys seem to know your stuff, its off topic but kinda still in the same range??
So what if i change intakes? I'm currently using a volant and hope to change to a K&N(chrome tubing). AAAAAANNNNDDD adding the shorty headers. DO you think i should get new cutom tunes? or willi be safe with the ones i have?

With changing the CAI brands you will need to get the tunes rewritten for the particular intake you're installing.
This is due to the MAF sensor being relocated and a tube diameter changeğmay not be much but it could be enough.
The shorty's have nothing to do with it.
Peace!:)

You're Welcome
You'll need to post in recalibration request in this forum and also goto the main website and fill out a gas order form, make sure to put in the notes section its for an upgrade.
Hopefully the websites order forms are working now.
Peace!:)
