Just as the title says.. I just traded in my 2004 F150 on a 2006 F350 Powerstroke, and I was wondering if Bill can update my gryphon to work with the new truck.

thanks.

I would imagine so, I just sent mine it to get upgraded from a 2001 5.4 2V to a 2005 5.4 3V... but i would send corey an email asking, that was the quickest response for me.

Thanks for the response Corey. I really appreciate it.

Do I need to send my gryphon to you, or can I upgrade the frimware via Pegasus? Also would custom tunes be worth it on a mostly stock truck? I plan on doing an EGR delete and headstuds in the near future, but I want everything to hold together until then. :)

Thanks again

bump

Im ready to send my gryphon in for the firmware update, but which form do I fill out?

I would call, but my work hours and lack of phone service on the job dont allow it. :(

hydrocarbon302, looking at the forms they have, I don't think there IS a form for what you are asking. It's kind of a unique request.

What I'd do, if I trusted them (which I do), is, I'd send your unit, with OBDII cable to them, insured, with package tracking (so you know when it arrives). Include in the box a typed letter explaining exactly what you want (what you posted earlier sounds like it would be fine).

Make sure your name, address and phone number are on the note, so they can contact you if there are any questions. You could even "quote" the response Corey gave you in this thread if that seems appropriate.

Ask for an invoice, so you can send them proper payment.

I suspect if you do all this, things will happen.

what Jack said is exactly what I did, I sent the Gryphon, mounting pod(since i didnt need it anymore), OBDII cable, and a letter explaining why i sent it in, and they are shipping back to me when it is finished. hopefully tomorrow! :cheesy smile:
To pay for it, Corey just set up the normal online invoice and the link to the payment website, and I did everything from there.
Hope you enjoy your new truck!

thanks for the response guys.

I know everyone at PHP is super busy, I just didnt want to throw wrenches in the gears by not sending the correct paperwork.

Programer will be sent out today. Woot!

I think it was about a monthish before I got it back from the time I sent it in, and it took around 3-5 days to ship, I dont exactly remember. I would try and call to make sure they got it. I think the longest wait was for them to actually get my old gryphon though, then it was within a week of getting it that I had the invoice.

I wish I could call them. My work schedule doesnt allow me to get phone service during their business hours. I posted in the order status forums and sent Corey a pm. Hopfully she'll reply. :help:
