Hi, I just bought an 06 F250 6.0. Poor mileage, seems sluggish. I am looking at the Gryphon CT Controller/gauge package and a FICM flash.
Should I get the remote programmed Gryphon, flash the FICM, then wait awhile to get the controller? AS far as I am aware, the truck is stock. No leaks or CEL lights. Is there a discount to purchasing both at once? I still have about 4000 miles on the warranty, it is at about 95,500. I plan on taking it to a dealer for a thorough check before the warranty expires. The onboard computer shows about 12.5 MPG, that is empty, in town, not stepping on it, just short drives to work, but I have only driven it for 3 days and am still getting used to it. Boost pressure seems low, but I have not hopped on it yet.
I eventually plan on doing the ARP studs, EGR delete, etc, as time and money allows. I have a coolant cleaner on the way.Just daily driving for now, eventually I will be a towing about a 7,000 pound trailer.
Any help is sure appreciated, thanks, Brad

I would have the dealer check it over first, since they will probably flash you, and you would lose your PHP FICM program and custom tunes if you did it after the fact. So have the dealer check it out then buy your FICM program and gryphon.

Also you should check your mileage by hand, most everyones mpg guage in the truck doesnt show proper, mine says i get 13, i hand calculate everytime and i only get 10-11.
