I bought my 2005 Ford F150 about two years ago. Year one was a transition year from my jeep grand cherokee to a larger truck.

After year one, I decided, it might be fun to go online and read about the truck, I was looking for parts and stumbled across f150online.com, I joined not knowing what I was getting myself into.

Within the last 6 months, I have put on new halo projector headlights, led tail lights, led third brake light, chrome bull bar, Hell Bent Steel 2.5 inch level kit, chrome bed rails, oem ford chrome clad rims, nitto terra grapplers 275/65/18, chrome T-rex billet grill, chrome grill surround, tinted the front windows, a chrome dash bezel, and purchased a used edge evolution programmer which I feel has really made the truck more powerful.

So after receiving my edge evolution, I noticed it makes a little rattle noise, something loose on the inside...I threw up a thread on f150online.com...after receiving a reply from ab46501, he says, upgrade to a gryphon...and I inquire....ooooohhhh....whats a....gryphon????? His reply back has opened my eyes to the many more upgrades for my truck to come....They can tear it apart, put in new custom tunes based on what you want to do with your truck AND maybe get rid of that lil rattling noise.

So here I am, a noob yet again...on yet another forum, that will, inevitably leave me with more wants than my checkbook will allow all at once...then again, I just got engaged a month ago, and im not sure if my lil woman(she's only 5'2 115lbs and huge :censored1: :woot:) hehe, will allow any other major purchases...but I will have to do what I can under the radar.

So I live in Minneapolis, MN, don't do much off-roading with the truck, but it is definitely a work truck. I do landscaping, mostly my own, and should probably get the bed lined soon, there isn't much paint left after all the material I have hauled with it. It is parked outside, I'd put it in the garage, but it doesn't fit....Just one of those things, So I keep my 2006 Honda VTX 1300C and the future wife's new 2010 Mazda CX-7 in there.

Haven't had a chance to really show off my ride since I don't think its anything all that special yet. I'd like to get a dual exhaust system and a new intake soon, but after buying, truck, house, motorcycle, engagement ring and paying for our wedding in Hawaii, I am spent.

Thats just a bit about me.

Hope to get to know you all better, and hope to get my edge upgraded and fixed asap...

now can someone point me in the right direction of who to talk to about fixing my programmer?

Welcome! and yes you have come to the right place if you want to know how else to spend money on your truck! if you want to order a gryphon, they will actually take your edge, "fix it" and then send it back as a gryphon, then all you have to do is send in your hex code(there are a lot of these, and it somehow deals with what your computer does to the truck when its stock, others know more about this than i do :D ). once you get your hex code sent in, you wait a month or two, and then you will have custom tunes specifically for your truck, but if you want to add true dual exhaust, then you will need to re-customize your tunes for the new features. their main website will help explain all of this a little better than I can, but other forumers will be able to help even more than that if you have more questions :cheesy smile:

First
Welcome!:)
Second
Congrats on your engagement!
Third
The upgrade is really quite simple. 1. Pull up the order form from the support page from Power Hungry Performance - Feed your hunger for POWER! (http://www.gopowerhungry.com).
2. Fill it out and use your edge to get your truck's hex code.
3. Email Corey your order and print one off to go in the box with the edge.
4. Ship it. Make sure it has insurance.
5. Wait awhile 4-6 weeks or possibly sooner depends on the work load.
6. Get it back and it should be ready for plug and play.
With your custom tunes on it already. Peace!:)
