I was updating it and it fell off my table and came unplugged.

So now Pegasus doesn't recognize it.

I cant really wait to talk to PHP right now.

Any ideas?

I think you're going to have to talk to Bill about this one. It sounds like you have corrupted firmware in the unit and if so, he's going to have to set up a special download to get you back in business. It's possible you may even have to send the unit in for reprogramming, unless Bill can get Pegasus to recognize it.

At least you can drive your truck, even though you won't enjoy it so much since it will be using the stock tune.

Didnt think of that....sheesh

I did, he called me back later in the day. I missed it so i called him back with in 30 min and he was busy. Said he would call me back later.

But never did.

So im still with out a programmer, and Im kinda worried about burning up my motor. It really runs like crap and doesnt have any bottom end.

Hopefully he will be able get me set up tomorrow.

Why do you think you'd burn up your motor? At the stock tune, it's just like it came from the factory. Yes, it doesn't run as well as it did when it was tuned, but that won't hurt it.

Well the truck originally had a 4.6l engine in it. I put a 5.4l in it and used the stock 4.6l computer system.

The truck probably wont burn up. But im sure its lean, i dont know how much though.

Take a look at his about me in his user profile.
He's got some goodies that will throw codes while running a stock program.

Wasn't trying to insult you or nothing like that.
It's just my standard response when I read issues like you had.

OK, bad on me. So the answer is, keep trying to get Bill, realizing he's ALWAYS very busy, and don't drive your truck more than you have to. And especially, don't "push" your truck to do supertruck things.

Its all good. I was just frusterated after not getting to talk to bill.

I understand he is a very busy guy.

I know he will be able to help me out. When I posted this thread, i thought maybe somebody would have a code or something to put into pegasus to restore the programer back to stock.

Regardless. Thanks guys, I will post back when bill gets me handled.
