Whats the difference in the mustang 2V and the 04-08 f150 2V motor?
Why can the mustang rev to :yikes2: 6000 rpm and the truck only to :disbelief: 5000 rpm what can i change or swap out to make this happen???? Would a PCM swap or do i need to do cam and spring work?? I mean even the :cursin: 5.4 revs that high and its just a stroked 4.6 with 3V heads!!! Please help!!!!

What mustang 4.6L 2V are you talking about? All of the ones I've seen are 3V. There might also be other factors. I know that they also have a different intake manifold so I doubt that is the extent of the differences.

Hmm, well then a guy I talked to a few months ago who owned an 04 mustang didn't know what he was talking about. Hope he got the right headers, that is the mod he was thinking about. :giggle:
I think one reason why the f150s dont rev as high is that there seems to be trouble with the f150 torque converters over 5400 RPM.
