Been reading a post on another site bout 2 stroke oil in your fuel for lubricating pumps, injectors and such.Without starting a huge contriversy, what do you think.Maybe Cleatus could call the inj rebuilders they use to make sure their warranty will hold up if used.I don't see a prob with it at all, just my opinion.Sleds, bikes whatever run extreme rpms at 40/50 to 1 mixes.Worst case your deisel will "smoke".:hmmm:

I've also heard about it being used as a lube and a smoking agent. I'm curious about the opinions of it too.

Just about everyone that I talk to up here runs 2-stroke in there diesels. Most people use Yamalube (Yamaha's brand) and swear by it. They all say they get better MPG's and the engine runs smoother and quieter.

I personally have not tried running any yet, the only thing I have run is ATF with similar results. Of course during the summer months my pickup runs on a special blend of SVO so I dont think any more oil is needed.:D

my dad is anal about MPG last year I gave him a 1 gallon jug of Walmart 2 stoke he ran it about 265:1 ratio (just like he ran Lucas). With Lucas he got almost 10% better fuel mileage and a little better than 10% with the 2 stroke oil and the 2stroke is 9 bucks a gallon vs. Lucas at $22 ish.
This is in his '99 F450

I run it off and on in every thing, my Russian made Ledda 35 (basically a Belarus 310) , 35hp air cooler 2 cylinder diesel, likes the two stroke, I think it make a huge difference, especially when running pump fuel, the same results with my 1750 Case uniloader

my mechanical Cat 3116 did like 15% better on 2 stoke an made a little more boost

also have an '86 6.9 that had more git up and go with 2 stroke.

I run 2 stroke in my truck. You just need to make sure it is ash-less. It will say on the back if it is.

Ashlesss is marine 2 stroke. I run the 2 stroke from Walmart. Make sure its marine. 1 oz per gallon.
I am a locomotive mechanic and the diesel eats up our investors and pumps. We change them all the time bad or good.

I have not tried the 2 Stroke Oil as of yet. I have used the Ford Cetane Booster and found it helps some with throttle response and the seat of the pants dyno.

I recently tried the Red Line Diesel Fuel Catalyst and it has a better feel than the Ford Booster. I had some in and was low on fuel and added only $10 at $2.89 and I could tell it was not performing as well. Filled it up with 1/2 a bottle and it was back to the Wow factor.

Runs about $7 to $9 depending where you can find it. My local O'Reilly Auto Parts.
