Hello all new to the forums. Since it has been virtually impossible for me to get through over the phone to php I figured I would just post this here.
I have a '05 F150 FX4. I have an edge CTS and was looking into updating it to a gryphon so I can have custom tunes. My truck is stock (besides the chip, lift and oversized tires), Would I benefit from the custom tunes over the canned ones although I dont have any other engine mods?
If so how much of a performance boost can I expect from the canned tunes to the custom tunes by php?(hp and mpg)
If I did do the update would I need to send in my CTS? Or do I get all the updates and custom tunes via email?
TIA

We are here M-F 12-5 PM EST and our phone hours are posted on our website. There are three of us here and three phone lines so very few phone calls escape us.
All trucks can realize increased driveability and performance with custom tunes over Edge's canned tunes. If you are looking for all-out performance, the 93 octane performance tune is usually capable of up to 35-40 HP over stock.
You would need to fill out the order form from our website for CTS calibrations. All programming would be done remotely so you don't have to send it in.

I don't think you're going to get an "Earth-shattering" boost from canned to custom tunes. I've said in the past, it's more of a "refinement". Personally though, I'm happy I have custom tunes and would not want to go back to canned.
But, DO try to talk to Bill before ordering if you can. He does not want your expectations to be too high, and he'd prefer to give you a "realistic" view of the benefits before you submit an order.

Maybe I am calling the wrong number? I took it from the website, but whenever I call I get either a busy signal or a recording asking me to try again because they are helping other customers..
But thats what i figured with the power. It would be nice to have an 87 performance tune rather than the 91 and up from edge.

I think you're calling the right number - they're just very busy!
Try the canned 87 tow tune. It's really a very good "daily driver" tune and is the one I used until I got my custom 87 "performance" and "tow" tunes. Notice I didn't get a 91 performance tune - I don't want to burn expensive gas.

Up to 25 HP with a 87octane performance tune.
Fill out the CTS order form then Bill will write your tunes and email you when they're done.
To load them you'll use edge's fusion.
It will be like updating it.
Follow your manual for update proceedures.
Remember to put your truck back to stock programming.
