I got my chip today and all I can say is WOW! Its like a new truck. The 120 race is more than I expected, I have a very big grin in this tune. I like all the tunes, (stock, high idle, whisper, 65tow, 80e, 120race) My only complaint is the whisper could be a little more quiet and I missed the sale by a week. I hope I can keep my foot out of it long enough to see if mpg improves .

I just installed my chip tonite and really liked it. The 100is awsome. The shifts in the 89 and 100 are quick and hardly feel them. I like it so far. The whisper is not what I expected , but what the heck, I had to find out for myself. I would say that I am satisfied with the results. And the customer service is 2nd to none. Thanks for everything everyone.

Hey guys,
The problem we have run into with the whisper mode on a couple trucks is that when we lowered the RPM too much it started causing ICP instability because the HPOP was turning lower RPMs and generating less injection pressure. This was causing a degree of unburnt fuel exiting the tailpipe and really stinking things up.
I'll be more than happy to redo the programs for you to achieve the desired quieter idle. Just let me know.
Take care.

How much is it to replace a tune with something else?
I have a bud with a 6sp truck about to order after driving mine:evillol: he cant stand it:drool2:

Thanks. I would rather know that I won't have any problems than a quiet truck. Right now I am happy with everything and am gonna drive it a while before trying any changes if any are needed. That means a lot to the customer when you offer things like changing it if they are not happy. Please don't think I was trying to say anything negative about the whisper, I was just stating my experience with it. I would recommend PHP to anyone.:2thumbs::happy-dancing:

Zeuss,
No worries at all. The whisper mode program is something we keep trying to improve. I've seen complaints from people about earlier versions of the program where it was a bit smoky and we were trying to see if we could reduce that a little. Even the earlier version wasn't too bad so if you'd like to go with that then we'll be happy to get that for you.
Other than that... enjoy! :D

I hope everyone knows by now that I'm not one to push a product on anyone, but this is why live tuning is optimal for 7.3L programming. The customer's calibrations can be tweaked to perfection! :happy-dancing:
Im just a cross the river in sc, about an hour or so away. So I could drive over and let Bill tune the chip on the truck? How much more would this be, money is tight right now. I just want to tweak the whisper or maybe replace it with another tune. Thanks

If it's just a minor tweak, there's no charge. :) Just give us a call and we can set up a day and time for you.
