Right now I have a factory Ford reman transmission in my pickup.
When I come to a stop I notice that the RPM's drop slightly as in +/-100 RPM's as I'm applying the brakes. The motor than regains the lost RPM as I stop of when I let off of the brakes.
I was just wondering if this was a very early sign of converter failure? I know that these transmissions start having stalling issues, such as reverse, when the converter starts to fail.
This condition happens in every tune so I know that it has nothing to do with tuning of anything silly like that.
Any thoughts?
