Hello. I'm not going to be able to call PHP during their phone hours. I received my FICM Reprogrammer and I have a 2005 6.0 - Do I choose the 05-07 IH Strategy and it will roll it back to the 03-04 Strategy with the better MPG or do I upload the 03-04 IH Strategy? Just wanted to be sure I upload the correct one and get it back in the time allowed. Thank you!

On a side note: There is nothing labeled FICM Control Relay in my Users Manual. Is it the IDM Relay that I remove?

no promises, but I Think that you should upload the one for your model year. And no clue about the IDM relay, sorry... :), Enjoy the tunes though.. :D

So I uploaded the 05-07 I/H Strategy and shouldn't the strategy of my truck roll back to VXCF4 or something? I plugged in my SCT III once it said "Programming Complete" and my truck is still VXCF9.....Any suggestions??

my suggestion is to drive it and see how you like it... I can't really help more than that :/

FICM programmer only handles the FICM software. You should upload the FICM file for your vehicle year. If you ordered a ECM/TCM rollback in addition to the FICM programming, you'll need to get in touch with PHP so they can have the programmer setup remotely for the ECM/TCM rollback.

No, I didn't do ECM. FICM only. I just wanted to be sure that I was supposed to choose the year of my truck and it would roll it back to the better MPG strategy. I recently had to buy a brand new FICM from Ford and it had the latest strategy on it. Thanks for the help. Should be good to go since it said it was complete.

One more question, I wrote down my FICM Calibration BEFORE I programmed it and it's still the same AFTER I programmed it with the 05-07 Inductive Heat. Should these be the same or should it have changed?

The first digit should have changed from a "A" to "P" IIRC. Post your new ficm cali please.

thanks

It still is the same. Starts with a A. According to Bill it should be the same so Ford doesn't freak out. I'm not at home right now to get it for you but it is exactly the same as it was before I loaded the rollback.
