Finally upgraded the stock pads/rotors.

Have you ever installed non-OEM brakes on any of your vehicles? I just picked up a set of front Slotted Rotors from EBC and Green Stuff pads. Hearing lots of bad reviews about micro-fractures and stress cracks on the Drilled rotors. Everyone seems to love the Slotted. Better at venting hot brake gas and eliminates glazing of the pads. I've had them for ~1500 miles and I cannot even begin to tell you how great this upgrade is. They work fantastic, much better stopping power, I feel way more in control, especially when towing.

EBC is made in the USA and the UK too!

Considering it was $400 just to replace the factory crap rotors/pads from ford, from the stealership, I'm happy with a $301 total purchase (rotors and pads + weaseling a big discount:) ). $150 per wheel shipped to my door, awesome.

Sounds good.......

There seems to be a never ending argument over drilled rotors on how they get the stress cracked......I've used them and never had any issues.....I didn't used the cheap ones either and I also used the compatible pads......
