evo to a Gryphon

All right I guess I'm dumb, but I can't seem to find a clear answer for this question.

Can I transform my Evo15001 to a Gryphon with custom tunes? Its on a 2001 f-250 w/7.3. I have heard that its possible and I have heard its not.
