So, things were going slow at work the other day and I asked one of my crews to do some work on my 97 F350 PSD. One of the things that needed to be done was a rebuild of the oil cooler. Well, due to a gasket slip, the front motor cover got cracked (looked suspect after post mortem inspection). Since the engine had to come out, I decided to put a 120,000 mile engine in place of the original 335,000 mile dog. While there, we intercooled it with an SD unit and custom piping and added a Banks Quick-Turbo exhaust housing.
So, now I am putting my CS on it and have ordered stage 2.5 injectors (175 30%) for it. I can see a new HPOP and hi-perf turbo in the future. In the mean time, I think I'll be ordering an FU chip and some gauges. Can't wait for the injectors to get here, but it'll be a while until they get installed. So, in the meantime, I'll get to play with my current mods and the standard calibrations.
Been a hell of a week, but it led me here and I'm glad to be a part of this!
