I have been trying to call for over a week to get a custom tune since I just installed Long tubes but no one ever answers the phone. I am so close to selling this and getting an SCT.

Email works better than calling. I could never get an answer on the phone either. They answered emails pretty quick

If you are ordering tunes just for long tubes, why not fill out the online order form?

I would but I'm reading that it is like a 4-6 week wait for a custom tune. All i need is the rear O2's turned off. Thats is why I want to talk to them. If it takes 4-6 weeks I'm selling this thing.

What kind of programmer do you have?

Gryphon

That is what I assumed considering you were talking about selling "it" for an SCT. Do you have the monochrome or CS/CTS?

If monochrome, chances are Cody will get your order and they'll be done in a few weeks at most (usually, sometimes things come up). If the CS/CTS then Bill will have to get them uploaded to Fusion. In that case it may take longer.

Edit, whether you have monochrome or CS/CTS, I'm pretty sure you'll still have to order a new tune rather than a slight adjustment. In that case you'll still have to fill out an order form.

A few weeks? Anyone wanna buy a gryphon?

Read what I typed again. I wrote a few weeks AT THE MOST usually. But if you are that impatient, however, I can't tell you not to. Do what you feel is necessary.

Good luck on getting a decent amount of money for the current programmer, a new programmer and custom tunes in less than a few (usually considered as 3) weeks.

Sorry, but fair's fair. There are tons of people ahead of you waiting for their custom tunes. Just because your custom tunes required a minimal change doesn't mean that you get bumped up in line. This kind of attitude is not conducive to convincing anyone to go out of their way for you.

****************************I called the guy that tuned my mustang a couple years ago today and I will have my SCT Livewire with my custom tune I am needing here on Saturday. Hope I can get $50 for the gryphon so I can have gas money to go down to the dyno when the whipple goes on next month.

Edited by Corey for rudeness.

We're not actually behind at all. There is just a wait based upon our current workload. Frankly, I'd be more concerned dealing with a company who was standing around with their proverbial thumbs up their butts waiting around for business. Perhaps your Mustang guy isn't as busy as we are. Anyway, good luck with your new endeavor!

I'm pretty sure he is more busy then you guys are seeing that every time I went down there to get on the dyno they had to move 5-6 cars out of the way when they opened to get my car in and to work on the cars currently on the racks. They build and tune some of the fastest street cars in the country. They tuned my 700rwhp 2v 4.6L mustang in one day and were able to get me on the dyno within a week of me calling. Every time I needed an adjustment to my tune I would call and let him know what I needed and 20min later the tune was in my email. The crazy part is the owner is the only one the writes tunes and they are dead on every time.

Not really trying to dog PHP and I was very happy with the canned tunes I received in my gryphon. But come time for a custom tune and the business is just sub par in my book.
