running rich after tunes?

Thanks to the PHP crew for the custom tunes, they work great. the only question i have for everyone is i have a banks monster exhaust on there. on my tip is black soot, it almost looks like it's running a little rich. is this normal. do i need a retune? thanks for the help guys
