Well ladies and gentlemen, finally made the jump into the diesel world. We just bought an 04 Excursion 6.0L 4X4 and I am super excited. Of course its going to be roughly 28 days before Im back stateside to drive it.
With that being said, any input from you fellow 6.0L folks on the BPU mods to begin with? I have been reading up on the " 6.0L PSD FICM & ECM Reprogramming". Any supporting mods that should go along with this?
As always, any and all input is greatly appreciated... :woot: :cheesy smile:

EGR Delete, ARP studs, and while its torn apart new oil cooler. Also a 4" turbo back (CAT delete) exhaust w/ a straight through muffler will make it sound real nice! I am also a believer in Rev-X... after trying it.

Greatly appreciate the information. Any recommendations on PSD forums? Also any particular brands you recommend for those supporting mods?

Many thanks Jeremy. I was surprised at how clean it is inside, outside, under including frame and running gear. It was a one owner with only 76k miles on it. I couldn't be happier with this lucky find.

PowerstrokeArmy (http://www.powerstrokearmy.com), Powerstroke.org (http://www.powerstroke.org), and PowerstrokeNation (http://www.powerstrokenation.com)
Brands are tough. Lots and lots of choices. I'm still trying to figure them out myself. :yikes2:
BTW - Congrats on the new ride! Wish I could find a good deal on an Ex.
