I'm new to this forrum and plan on buying a gryphon to replace my cortex as custom tunes for my truck will be a good idea having obx lt headders w/cats, k&n intake, magnaflow offroad si/so dump, 325/65R18 BFG's.
What questions should I be asking the seller of a used gryphon to make sure I dont get ripped off?

The biggest concern is to MAKE SURE the programmer has been returned to stock. Have the customer take a picture of the device display showing a "0" in the upper right corner. This indicates the programmer is, in fact, back to stock. Otherwise, you are going to get stuck for the $75.00 unlock fee.
The other big concern is to make sure you order the right device for your vehicle. Make sure it's for the 2004-2008 series truck. The 97-03 version will not work on the later models and vice-versa.
Let me know if there's anything else we can help with.
Take care.

Thanks, I'm buying it from a guy on f150online and he has the same year as me so i expect no problems and I look forward to getting some custom tunes ordered as soon as it gets here.
