Has anyone done a remote start install themselves? I had one installed on my black truck, but I pulled it out before I sold it, now I want to install it on my 2013 Mustang but I don't want to pay $350 to have someone else do it. Any tips? or is it worth the money to have someone else do the install? Thanks! :cheesy smile:

After installing mine, on a 2013 I'd say let them do it. You'll at least have some kind of warranty.

The problem is the place here costs $250 plus parts and I don't know if I trust them, and san antonio is 3 hours away, so going there and losing the car for 4-5 hours during the install is almost not an option... either way, are there any places you trust in the area?

We've got a place called Audio Outlet. I've never had them install anything but if I had to, it would probably be them. They cater to the mid-upper end markets so they'll probably be expensive but they have always been helpful.

Went to san antonio and got it installed, it cost more than I wanted, but I can tell that it was done right. On another note, What do you think of this filter design? AFE Pro-Dry S Air Filters (http://www.autoanything.com/air-filters/60A4151A0A0.aspx)
I just saw it and I would think that it would work better, flow more, than stock, while still filtering as much as stock.
Thanks for the input :D

88Racing actually got me hooked on the Amsoil dry filters. I forget the name but you won't miss them on the website.
