Default Datalogging Error with a .xml Output

Hey guys. Hoping I might be able to get some help!

I'm having some really squirrelly cooling issues with my powerstroke. I've been trying to do some data logging to generate some real-time information on whats going on with my cooling system. I can generate the .csv (excel) outputs all day every day with no issues. The problem with that is that you have to actually have the AE program to view a real-time output. I want to put the file up on a friend's ftp server so that a couple of mechanics that are trying to help me can view and see what's going on. So:

I've been trying to generate the output in the .xml format so that they can open the file with a web browser and see what's happening. It's my understanding you can generate a continuous graph of the data with this method. I record the data ok; my laptop is generating the .xml output no problem. The problem is I can't figure out how to open it!!! Multiple versions of IE (6 series, 7 series and 8 series) generate an error message: Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and the click the refresh button, blah blah blah. I had one of my co-workers try to open it in firefox today with almost the same error message. Several web searches of this error message suggests enabling "access data sources across domains". Been there, done that, same result. I've contacted support with AE a couple of times with no solution yet.

Forgot to add that I'm using AE version 8.2

If any of you guys have had this problem and found a solution I'd be eternally grateful if you'd share the fix. I feel like I'm beating my head against the wall and at this point I'd like to see the answer just so I can quit messin with it!!
