I noticed my 96 is surging or missing a little when I have it lugged down in high gear pulling a grade. Feels kind of like its drinking a little water but my fuel bowl is clean. Anyone got an idea on how I might us my AE to determine what is causing the slight surge.. Runs great the rest of the time even if I wind er up through the gears..

AE can show you just about any live sensor reading...like oil pressure, TPS, ICP...
Try brake torquing the truck and see if you get a shudder.
