The Conversation Pit This is where EVERYTHING else goes. No subject is too mundane. How's the weather in your area? Did your kid cut his first tooth? Really, what do you think about the President? And don't get me started on Cummins and Duramaxes. Have at it!

Default Which would i need.

Ok i cant sleep so im looking at things that I can do to my truck. I came across this Ram air hood.

https://www.ramairhood.com/store/scr...?idproduct=134

since i already have the K@N cold air intake I wouldnt need the airbox with the filter. so just the functional hood right?
also how do you think this would look on my truck also with the crome grill like the picture on the website

Looks pretty good. I have never been a big fan of the looks of a ram air hood, but I understand that they can be quite functional. Plenty of people disagree with me, too, so I think you would probably be very happy with it!

It would look great!
As far as functionality of the ram air I would go with their kit.

I think the ram air applications only become a true cold air intake even when your going 70 down the highway. That one looks pretty cool if you can afford it so if you can, go for it.
But for the '08s like mine I would probably go with Cervinis. They are about $500 for my year model but I haven't done any research into it because its a few hundred out of my price range.

Yeah i cant afford it either but just wondering for future references.

and just wondering on the comment by 88racing, would that replace my K@N air intake or just the filter. because the filter lays in the exact same spot as the stock.
