The Conversation Pit This is where EVERYTHING else goes. No subject is too mundane. How's the weather in your area? Did your kid cut his first tooth? Really, what do you think about the President? And don't get me started on Cummins and Duramaxes. Have at it!

Default Something Different

As I write this, we have an adult male bobcat sleeping on our patio, under the plants near the corner of my office. Since I know: "without pics, it never happened", I did my best. It's through the window and at a pretty bad angle. In the first, he's asleep (previous views were all from the other end (of him), which is why I know he's male). The second is right after someone's car alarm went off. Now he's sleeping again.

This is a real thrill for us. we've never seen one in the 12 years we've lived here.

I'm hoping he's here to get our ground squirrel population under control.

Awesome!

We have those all over around here although they look a good bit "fluffier". Beautiful creatures, they are.

I like them, they don't usually bother livestock too much.

That one looks better than the last one I saw.
