Not sure which I would need.

Since my injectors are relatively mild (split shot stage II's) I don't really consider myself "heavily" modded, and I can run stock split shot programming.....so can I order the standard FU and then add a custom program or two down the line if I want/need it, or would it be better to wain until I can afford to go with FU2 package?

Hey there,

Just checked with Bill to be sure, and he doesn't think our basic FU tunes would work for your truck. I think the FU2 is your best bet. Your tunes will have to be custom written, but technically, you aren't limited to only six since you would have the programmer, too. Bill can write as many tunes as you'd like and just e-mail them to you, and you burn what you want on your chip. The only thing to consider, though, is that each custom tune would be $60, so if you wanted to play with lots of them, it could get pricey.

We'd be happy to talk with you and help you decide which tunes would suit your needs best so that we can keep your cost to a minimum. Give us a shout when you have a minute (or PM me your phone number, and we'll be happy to call you one evening when it's convenient for you!).

Yikes! Yes, that would get expensive in a hurry. Looks like I'm going to have to forgo the burner and just get a phoenix. I don't need to play with a lot of programs...heck, I really only need about four good ones that I can count on. Just got got caught up in the new bling fever.

Well....poop. I was really looking forward to adding "tuned by Bill" to my sig line again, but mother nature has different plans for that money. Now I get to buy a new tube and rebuild the bridge over the creek where my driveway used to be.

I'm still going to do it.....but it won't be this week.
