Default Do i need Fu or FU2

I have a 97 with 7.3l That i currently have 160cc injectors, Electric Fuel, Intake, and Intercooler. Is having the 160cc injectors considered Mild Modification or Major? Im not sure what chip is going to be best for me and im leaving for vacation soon and wanted to have it ordered before i left so i can have it ready for when i return lol.

Let me know what you guys think

Thanks
Stephen

In all actuality, if the 160CC injectors are "stage 1" injectors, you don't NEED custom tunes, but the truck will run like it has the stock AA 90CC injectors. If you plan on using the 160s to their full capacity, you will need the FU2 with custom tunes....or you can simply purchase a Phoenix chip with custom tunes on it.

We can most certainly get you up and running with the FU package. The hardware is exactly the same for both the FU and FU2 so the only thing that we will need from you is an additional $30/tune when you decide to go with custom tunes that the FU2 will provide.

Thats what im going to do. Correct me if im wrong but its okay to run a chip with settings that will run my injectors at 90cc and then have like my last 2 settings that open them up to the full 160cc correct?

Thanks again for all the answers...Im tryin to get this taken care of before vacation lol

Yeah. You'll end up with two tunes that run good, but won't run to it's full potential.

Well i just found out that my vacation from work has turned into a paid vacation lol so i will be ordering the FU2 chip as soon as i get that check. I cant wait. From what i have heard your tunes are very good. Alot better then what im running now.

How well is your lope idle work? i heard its good on some trucks but not good on others. I think i might try it to see how it works on my truck

Thanks for all the help man.
