Default help asap chip install- switch has 11 clicks now

Im in the middle of trying to install right now. I took the nut off to stick thru the dash and now i have 11 clicks instead if 6. Is my chip f'd?

no but you removed the pin that keeps it from stopping. so it will spend endlessly.. now you have to find where the first and last are, doh.

Well it goes all the way to the left #1 and then goes all the way right to #11.

So im ok? Does it matter as long as i dont go past the 6th click?

There is a washer below the two that are used for mounting that provides a stop or the knob.

Click the knob all the way to the left and place that washer in a position that limits you to 6 positions.

Going past number 6 will only default you back to position 1.

not sure where the washer went. gotta be in my dash. Got it and works awesome
