There is what appears to be a pretty big-deal Diesel Drags etc. day in Redding, California on the 19th of this month. Sled pulls, drags, dyno, etc.
It is about a 2-1/2 hour trip up there from my place, and Iwas thinking aobut going when my wife, Cindy, decided that a) WE are going, she thinks it sounds like fun, and b) we are gonna get a hotel room up there so we do not hafta drive back after a long day af adrenilne pumping through m tired old body.
It is at the Redding Dragstrip, NHRA sanctioned since 1965.
Anybody else on the west coast going?
I am not running or dynoing my truck, my Flex 2 is not here yet and I don't want to break the truck anyway; I am one of those old guys that use my truck to haul my camper and other toys to places I can beat on said toys, not the truck that gets me there and back home again.
