Here is some of mine, haven't done much to the exterior just to the powertrain.

Here is one from this last weekend when I was under the hood

Quality sucks, took it on the cell.

I'd post pictures of mine but it looks as stock as the day it rolled off of the assembly line. It looks just like the other hundreds of thousands of white crew cab shortbox lariats out there except I tore those ridiculous "4X4" stickers off of the rear box sides.

I did the same, got rid of the powerstroke badges, 4x4 stickers, and I wanted to get rid of the F-250 badges but there is a few holes behind them so they had to stay. I got the truck with the bumperguard on it, I never liked it, but after hitting a deer in Canada (500 mi. away from anything)it had to stay.......at least for the winter months and road trips. After that it proved its worth, just a few broken lights and a dent in the bumper, not to bad for a 65 mph collision fully loaded pulling a 32' gooseneck that was loaded also.

Here's one from the other day......

I was to chicken to go outside and get the pic.

907dave - I love that -40* temperature shot!! I lived in Ft. Wainwright down the road from you from '93 - '97 - I remember plug-ins at every parking spot and fighting to see through the ice fog driving down Airport Way or College Rd. I had a Ford Ranger 4x4 and a Ford Bronco 4x4 back then - both gassers. You've got some interesting stuff going on under the hood there, too - is that another turbo stuffed in there!?

Here's a small pic of my PSD - a few more in my picture album on this site... hoping to get a crewcab truck to park next to it by the spring...

WOW.....cool to hear from someone who has been here! You were here for a few of the best snowfall years, recently we haven't gotten crap for snow. Ice fog sucks, especially in Fairbanks with that whole inversion layer stuff. Any yes, there is an extra turbo under the hood, I can only use it in the summer time, roads are too slick in the winter to really get on it.

Load pic's in Paint program and use the Strech/Skew to make images smaller........just enter like 50% or 25% for each and should make the image smaller.

13-14mpg on frequent 700mi round trips, but keep in mind we have mountains to climb to get anywhere.:D There is alot of time spent going up and down and I usually try to go up as fast as I can, or at least do it without slowing down any.

with my '00 F550, 4x4, 4.88, 4R100, 8R19.5, 4"turbo back, Amsoil foam air filter, all synthetic oils. I get like 8mpg round trip (500 miles) gvw 17,500# empty and around 41,000ish # loaded, pulling a 40' flatbed gooseneck.

I had an 01 F350, 4x2, 3.73, 6spd, 235/85R16, drw, 4"turbo back, Amsoil foam air filter, 60hp superchips program, all synthetic oils. I got about 10.5 mpg round trip gvw was 14,500# empty with the same trailer (550's are heavy) and about 38,500# loaded.

'94 F350, 4x2, 3.55, ZF5, 235/85R16, SRW, CC, 2001 turbo, 4"turbo back, Amsoil foam air filter, 6 position TS chip. The best high way empty 24.5 mpg (65mph max) pulling hay (33,000 gvw) about 13 round trip. Pulling 8'x24' Eby stock trailer 16mpg. this truck currently has 350,000+ miles and is waiting for new injectors.

97 gmc 3116 cat 6-7mpg

I still have the 01 f350 but thanks too a couple of bone heads with a can of starting fluid it has a cracked piston or ring(s). I put over 600,000 miles on that truck from 2001 till 2007, since it is regular cab, 4x2, plain jane XL, I decided to make it a parts truck. the ZF6 (reman) is going in my F550 and I want to tare the engine down and see what 600,000 abusive miles + 60hp chip + amsoil equals. I would like to take pics, document it and share it with the world.

the 1st pic may be in forum violation, but since the 3116 makes a better boat anchor, I want/will put a 7.3 powerstoke in it with a 13 spd. Anyone got a 7.3 to #2 sea flywheel housing? Pic 2 is my ever vigilant truck guard dog. Pic 3 is my father’s ’99 F450 and 4 horse head to head show trailer. Pic 4 is ’94 psd with an old (long gone) trailer hauling a ’05 ram 3500 cummins with a blown motor @ 77,000 miles. Pic 5 ’99 F350, 4x4, ZF5, 3.55, after rear ending a parked tri axel dump truck. It was pulling a 9 ton load of hay and doing about 40 mph. One of my hired hands was bringing a load of hay to his G/F and he did not see the dump truck witch had no rear lights in the fog, he said, he never even touched the brakes. That was a cluster…

yeah maybe thats why the superduty have a beffier frame. It also had a B&W gooseneck hitch that held up well just bent the rails on one side. The pics are about 3 years after the wreck, I needed to put the hitch in another truck. The plow frame saved the front of the engine.

thanks for the resize info

G'day Dave,

Yer right M8 (mate), there is no glove box in the RHD Superduties.
A right PITA:thumbsdwn: The centre bucket sized console gets cluttered up with crap. So the need to install an overhead console to stow paperwork.

But; if you've never had it, you don't miss it:hmmm:

But who cares..it's a 7.3L Powerstroke muscle truck and ya just gotta love em' no matter what:reddevil:

Almost forgot. Another 7.3 owner shouting out:happy-dancing:! I got an early 2003 F-250 FX4 CC Short Box Lariat I have installed very little in looks. I have a Roltex Bed Cover. The previous owner installed a brush guard and rear air bags. I have a nifty little thing, an anti-drop tail gate strut/shock. Also installed a Wilson Cell booster. now just sitting on pins and needles waiting for my Gryphon CS I can't wait. I mainly use this truck for commute but i have a 30' Fifth wheel camp trailer and 10' bike trailer with a 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic LT. Hope to get some pics put up soon. Till then....
