Don't really watch NASCAR. Was Asst. Lot Mgr at a local Chevy dealership (good way to laugh at the Cheby's) when they built the Speedway here and got to drive the remodeled 97 corvette on the track though as we dropped off all of their track vehicles. That was fun:woot:

Got free tickets to a Nascar truck race there it too, it was alright.

Yeah, I'm with ya, I'm ready for the race season to start too. I've always been a Ford guy and I like the way Jack Roush runs his team, so I tend to support his drivers. YAY FORD! :fordbikini:

I'm really stoked about the local scene here to, I'll be at Concord Motorsprts Park (http://www.concordmotorsportpark.com/) most Saturday nights all summer. I love all sorts of racing though, I'm hoping to catch Pinks All Out at the new zMax Dragway in Concord as well as some bracket racing weekends. I spent a good amount of my youth following my dad and his buddies to the local drag strip on weekends to bracket race as a kid, good times! I don't watch any ball sports (including hockey), but put a motor on a milk crate and I'll watch it run in circles. :2thumbs:

Getting in wasn't so bad, but getting out was rough. :)

I haven't followed NASCAR for a couple of years now. My biggest turn off anymore with it is the broadcasting. Some of these guys just make me sick:throwup: HOWEVER, I will be attending my first Bristol race this summer :woot: I've been to MIS, Lowes, and Atlanta. Oh yeah, GO Mark Martin

Johnny! I remember that case with the model cars from the f150forums! Am I right?

(I'd like to do one with models of old steam train engines. As I told Wil, I have a "thing" for trains - especially the steamers). And, as a lad, I rode the Santa Fe Super Chief to California when my Dad returned from the war and we moved back there so I'd have to have a model of that one too.

Did I just hijack this thread? :yikes2: Sorry!

You got it, I've posted it up a couple of times here and there. You should start collecting, it's a cool hobby and some great forums around too.

Love the sport!

Been going almost every year since 1991. The older I get the more I like to watch it @ home. For what it cost these days for food and drink you could take the wife out to a nice place 4 times.

Been to Brick Yard 4 times, Micigan 3 times, Kansas 4, and Fontana CA the last 3 years.

The toughest is the last 6 years when the kids started coming with I always dread the green flag. Sitting there wondering which one is going to say "I gotta go pee!". For anyone whose been there the walk is long and so is the line. You can get a beer quicker!

Dream tracks are Bristol, Daytona, Pocono, and Talledega.
