Anyone have experience with them. Open for suggestions, my batt lite flickered so I checked the stud on the back of the alt & just getting batt volts there - 12.2 or so. Batt lite stays on now until 2000rpms so I'm pretty sure alt is toast.

I run the NAPA premium alternator. Free lifetime replacement is a good thing.

Thanks for the reply Bob, that's the one I was looking at. I talked to the mechanic here at the plant & he hooked me up with a local guy that will completely go through mine for $125 & it's good as long as I keep receipt. Dad & sons deal that's been in business for over 50 years so I think that's the route I'll take.

Ended up costing $98, dropped it off at noon yesterday & picked it up 11:00 this morning

Is that NAPA premium alernator over 110amp? Mine just went out (already had to replace) and I was looking around and I saw some 130-200amp alternators. I was looking for something with a higher output for my short runnin's.

I think it's a 110amp, that was the only one I saw on the website.

I would check my truck, but I dont drive it to work. I think its just 110amp though. I was just pleased with the free replacement when I had one fail. So the extra upfront cost has already paid for itsself.
