That's creepy...i thought that hex looked familiar...yep, mine is the same and an 08 model as well....but i haven't felt/heard your guy's probs.:whistle1:

I had posted the same problem in a earlier post. I do not have a FFV truck, it is a 08 4x4 5.4 totally stock except for the Gryphon with canned tunes only. Surge on level 2 and 3 on very light acceleration.... Might be there in level 1 also but it could be just because I am looking for it! Going to order custom tunes but am not going to add any upgrades to my truck.

Would also like to know about this, same problem (we discussed a while ago but instead of surging we were calling it 'gas pedal sensitivity') and same HEX code. Hoping custom tunes will cure.

well the custom tunes are in and been in for a week or 2 and all is great :happy-dancing: Thanks Bill and Corey for you help :2thumbs: all the problems while the truck was stock are gone and once again Thanks for all you do!!!! Horace
