Any update on the release date? Is it still the first week of October? My birthday is September 29th, so that would be awesome if the tuner comes out right around then :cheesy smile:

Hopefully your busy working on the tunes and unable to answer our request for updated dates.:D Seriously I'm tired of hearing from everybody how great the tunes work and not being able to take advantage of them for my truck.

Maybe we will get a discount for our persistence. :thumbs up yellow:

Haha, I'm right there with you man. I know you and I both lifted our truck right around the same time at the end of April and both of us have been waiting diligently for this tuner to come out.

A discount would definitely be awesome....but I really just want my tunes!! I want my MPG back closer to what it was and I want some more power! :thumbs up yellow:

Could this be the same programmer that would work on the '07 Expeditions?

Power Hungry Mon, October 5th, 2009 02:35 AM

The '09 F-150 code won't be the same as the '07 Expy as it uses a different CAN communications protocol. In 2009, they changed from ISO-15765 to ISO-14229 and made several significant changes to the communications structure. We're still working on it but I'm caught up with a few older drivability issues that need to be resolved before I can finish the '09. We're right there though so hold tight.

Hey guys! Yesterday, I traded in my 06 5.4 supercrew for an 09 FX4 supercrew. I pulled my gryphon out when I traded it in - after setting back to stock. Will this thing be able to be reprogrammed in the future to work on my 09, or will I have to sell it and start over. (I had custom tunes - 87 perf, 87 tow, and 93 perf.)

Thanks, in advance, for the reply.

Hold onto it. We're finishing up the firmware and calibrations on the units to include capability on the 2009's. As soon as it's ready, we'll let everyone know.

Thanks, Bill. Will continue to hold it as tightly as I did when I pulled it out before the trade in. :yesnod:
