out for 2010's?

I can't find a definate answer? Are the Gryphon's out for 2010's? I want one;)

shotgun Sun, February 28th, 2010 03:39 PM

No they are not available yet.

Muliefever Sun, February 28th, 2010 06:14 PM

okay.. Ideas when? Is the handheld programmer available?

shotgun Sun, February 28th, 2010 06:18 PM

http://forum.gopowerhungry.com/2009-...-released.html

There is not handheld version of the Gryphon/Edge.

I think Hypertech has a 2009/10 model, but I don't think it can be custom tuned. Other options are SCT and Diablo - but I don't know if they have a 2009/10 model or not.

I am holding out for a PHP tuned Edge CTS.

88Racing Mon, March 1st, 2010 09:53 AM

SCT products are available through PHP.
Edge still is holding things up on their end as far as the release of any programmer model for the 09-10's.

Peace:)

Muliefever Mon, March 1st, 2010 10:09 AM

Yes i know there is no handhels gryphon.. I used to own one;)

SCT, that's what i was trying to get out! I may lean towards one of them..

Thanks!

With Bill's tunes either one would be an excellent choice.

Yes, the XCallibrator 3 is out. I have one and am awaiting tunes for my 2010 F-150 Supercrew as we speak. If Corey and Bill get back soon, I should be at the top of their list (according to estimated date on the invoice).

ok sorry to interupt in this forum but you saying that ive been waiting for custom tunes all this time and i could already have them with a different programmer. Is there any difference between the XCallibrator 3 and the gryphon

88Racing Mon, March 1st, 2010 01:02 PM

Yes there is a difference.
Sorry for the confusion but I thought you were looking at the Gryphon option.
Gryphon has a display and as of yet I don't know where or how it will mount in the new trucks.
The SCT xcal3 is a hand held and not mountable. You program your truck and remove it. It has been available since January.
There is also the SCT livewire it has a display and mounts to the windshield with a suction cup.
To get these you need to contact PHP directly for pricing info.
Sorry for the confusion.

No. you are right i was wanting a Gryphon/edge programmer but if the xcal 3 does the same thing that is fine with me. there isnt any difference in performance right.

Muliefever Mon, March 1st, 2010 02:54 PM

As far as I know there is not any difference. I might go with the SCAL 3 this time.. we will see.

well if thats the case im pulling the trigger on one tomorrow i called today and they were out of office. So!! TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY:happy-dancing: if i can get a hold of them. im glad you asked this question or else i would still be waiting. the way im thinking now is just as long as they do the same thing with canned or custom tunes then i dont need a mounting device i had a bullydog programmer(I know, Peace of S**t compared to) for my 07but it was a removable device so im kind of use to it.

88Racing Mon, March 1st, 2010 03:18 PM

No performance differences, still has Bill's tunes.
But...............
You'll still need to contact them directly if you'd like to go this option!
