Level Two Towing, no power gain

I have had my gryphon for a few weeks now and was wondering if there was anyone out there that felt a performance gain? I can deffinately feel a difference in shift firmness and timing :woot: just no real power difference :cursin: haha love those smileys. I was just curious if anyone did feel a difference with the canned towing tunes? cant wait to just get my custom tune in... hopefully the week after bill and family get back :D

What year truck?
What engine size?
Some trucks perform differently with canned tunes.
Maybe the customs will wake it up.

Oh yah!
Forgot this: please fill out the rest of your user info in your user cp. Like hex and serial #.
Your customs will get done on time then.

The CAI may be hurting your power (without a custom tune).

At the top of the forum, you have a "bar" that has "UserCP", "FAQ", "Members List" and so on. Click on the "UserCP". Then, click on "Edit Your Details" in the left column.

Ok so i took the truck out and ran the canned level 3 tunes just for a couple minutes to see if i could feel any difference... i ran a 0-60 and it dropped me down about half a second. 7.66s :sigh: I didnt really feel the difference off the line though =( i know it could be the cai problem but i figured i would have felt something on the lower end. I was curious when i get the 93perf custom tune will i really feel it? Through the whole power band? thanks for all the answers so far and if anyone has an opinion on this let me know!

Once Bill writes your calibrations for you, your truck, and it mods, a difference should be felt.

I really hope i feel it, i know i could when i put on the cold air intake a few years ago. I think i'm gonna change my belt out to one of the gatorbacks :) the squeal is kinda annoying after awhile :thumbsdwn:. I also think i will change out my fuel filter and muffler that same day. I have a flowmaster delta 50 series sido, i'm thinkin of changing it to a super 44 sido.

The gatorback is the best in my opinion!:thumbs up yellow:

I also think you will enjoy your custom tunes alot more than canned ones.
